Alzheimer’s Society provides a range of support services for people with dementia, their families and their carers in Norfolk.
Provides information and support to people with M.E. their carers, families and friends. Raises awareness of M.E. locally within the media, health care organisations and the general public. Campaigns for more recognition, research and better care and benefits for people with M.E.
New Routes addresses the isolation experienced by asylum seekers, refugees and other recently resettled ethnic minorities in Norwich and provides opportunities for engaging in skill-building, sport and social activities. All programmes are designed to promote cross-cultural understanding and enable the building of bridges between diverse communities. The NR centre is open 6-days per week, running projects for women, mixed gender groups, young people, children and families. We provide one-to-one needs assessments and support, plus long term mentoring and befriending for young people and adults where requested.
